As a parent, protecting your child from the dangers of the internet is a top priority. The web is full of inappropriate content, including pornography and harmful websites that you want to block. In this post, we’ll walk you through how to restrict your child’s internet access, particularly if they’re using an iPhone, and provide a solution for parents who need additional support.

Steps to Restrict Internet Access on an iPhone

1. Go to Screen Time
• Open your child’s iPhone settings and navigate to Screen Time.

2. Find Content & Privacy Restrictions
• Select your child’s name, then tap on Content & Privacy Restrictions.

3. Set Up Web Content Filters
• Once there, go to Web Content. You’ll see several options that allow you to filter content:
• Limit Adult Websites: This option blocks most adult content automatically, but it doesn’t block 100% of porn on the internet, just 99% of it.
Allowed Websites Only: This feature allows access only to specific, parent-approved websites.

By setting up these filters, you can block explicit content and help ensure your child’s online experience is safer.
